- only 2 windows: main and error
- reworked configuration tab using GtkSwitch
- main tab includes the old "pause" control and the "log" dialog
  - log dialog automatically updated every 2 seconds
- status icon has no menu, it just pops up the window when activated
- missing configuration notification has now a button to pop up the
  configuration tab
- the "quit" control is in the gnome-shell top bar now
